Exclamation Dutch District

Me and all peaple of my guild would love a Dutch District.
Why? Communicating would be much easyer. sometimes my guild has trouble with recruiting peaple in Common Districts, cause you cannot see there are Dutch peaple online.
Another question: Why is there a Italian and a Spanish District? There are more Dutch peaple that are playing GuildWars then Italian and Spanish peaple together. I hope peaple understand me! PLANET DUTCH FTW!

First off, it is people, not peaple

Second, how do you happen to know that there are far more Dutch people playing than Italian and Spanish people together? Interesting to see how you gained that knowledge.

Third, why the hell would Dutch people want to have a Dutch district? We all are able (more or less) to communicate in English. The few that are not able to do so do not justify a Dutch dis.

Also, would you want to see names like
brok steenkool (lump of charcoal)
glitterstof (glitterdust)
hemelse tussenkomst (divine intervention)
etc.

I would rather not...

Although I am Dutch, I wouldn't like a Dutch district. Imo there should be only English districs, forcing those stubborn Germans and French to learn some English (80% of 'em can't speak English, got much experience with it) . And yeah, I thought there were more Dutch gamers than Spanish gamers, if I have to trust the Valve statistics. But then again Americans shouldn't be allowed to post in this thread since they cba to learn any foreign language and expect Euros to speak English fluently.... Isolating yourself from Europeans ftw...

I think that would be hilarious

I don't see a real need for a Dutch district either, but then, I'm on American servers and I hang out in International all the time anyway.

I'm for it if the Dutch people would like it. More happy players equals a better game.

Most of us are pretty much fluent in English anyway, so why would we need seperate "Dutch" districts...? I bet if there were Dutch districs, they would be empty 90% of the time, as most Dutchies would still be playing in the Common districts.

Granted, there are, of course, exceptions with the younger people who haven't had much English in school yet, but they don't warrant a seperate district-group to be made just for them.

The Dutch and Belgians are the best bunch in the Euro districts. Please don't leave me!

There are hardly any British Players in comparison so I'd be forced to learn German or Polish if I wanted to talk to anybody in the districts. :'(

dutch is bad, dutch people are bad, and the few fellow dutchmen i know that arent bad have no problems speaking english
Thanks for the laugh

Being Dutch myself, I don't see a reason to make an entire Dutch district.

Oh wait, please make one.
Then I know exactly which distict to avoid.
Most older players, except a unlucky few, have a fair knowledge of the English language. It's (or used to be) a mandatory language in most types of education.
Meaning the Dutch district would be filled with all the kids that did not have sufficient English lessons in school yet.

Please, please, please, I want this Dutch district

I'm also Dutch, but I think making a dutch district will divide the community even more; which is probably Anet's point of view. (Still got no clue why people want Polish district.)

However, I think dutch skills would be hilarious while playing with friends.

"Kan ik een genezend zaadje krijgen op 2?"
"Spam afleveringslicht meer, we hebben bijna geen levenspunten meer!"

I would be up for translating them, since I studied languages. And I'm sure even more people would be up for a Dutch translation, even if it's just for giggles.

It is however utterly annoying that people are posting stuff like "Dutch people know english" or "Dutch is stupid". Even in university alot of people (more than you think) don't know any English except the pure basics, and since 75% of the Dutch community is 10-16, it would make sense to make a dutch version of the game.

I don't know where you get that BS from...

Anyway, we don't really need an own dutch district because (the most of us) are capable of speaking some english anyway (it's THE world language IMO).
And english districts polish our english skills
